We Believe In The Power Of Prayer!

This is why we first asked people to join our prayer team, and after that to join our financial partners if God lead them to. We are asking God to provide at least 300 people who will pray for us, our family, and/or our ministry at least once per week. This is the singlemost important thing that you could do for us, and for Bolivia. Prayer team members will be sent weekly updates with prayer requests. Current Requests

Praise God that Joe's dad is back at home and the fluid around his lungs is gone. 

Pray for the coming birth of our baby.  We are less than one month away from our little Bolivian coming into the world!

Pray for Boliivia.  Things here are either tense or more tense.  I can't say a whole lot because we are politically neutral and do not want to be seen as anything else, but a great way to check up on what is happening is to go to google news and read.  Last Sunday (8/10) there was a vote--it had been declared illegal by the Supreme Court but it was held anyway.  This 'vote' effectively fired several of the Governors who do not agree with the politics of the President.  Now we are waiting to see what happens as a result of that.

Pray for our ministry in our local church.  Joe and all three teenagers are involved in setup/takedown and running the A/V.  Jacob plays in the worship team. 

Continue to pray for Joe's writing and internet ministry, our church involvement, and for Joe's growing mentoring of leaders.  We are trying to wait until we are fluent....but we are doing some training as God brings things to us.

Every month Joe is mentoring about 8 leaders and has started one on one with another man. Pray for these leaders.

Joe has been approached about the possibility of speaking once a month to English speaking university students.  It would be evangelistic and teaching, as the target would be both lost and saved students.  Pray that whatever God wants to happen here would!

Several families that have supported us have had to stop giving due to circumstances in their lives.  Please pray for two things.  First of all, lift up these un-named people in gratitude to Christ for their past giving and for help right now in their lives.  Also, pray for God to bring other people into our financial team as this decrease in giving has made us now be below budget each month.

Pray for language acquisition.

Pray for our goal of 100 people becoming full time missionaries through our influence.

Pray for our dream to be accomplished!
