The Bible teaches it is more blessed to give than to receive. This is an incredible truth that we believe by faith, but it is a little hard to understand. I say this because we receive. We receive and receive, and we are so blessed! How can you be more blessed by giving to us than we are by receiving? I think it is because as we receive, our blessing is tangible and consumable. It is temporary.

However, as you give, your investment in the kingdom of God grows with incredible interest for all eternity. WOW!

We need people to support us monthly through gifts to our ministry. We are seeking financial partners to come alongside of our MINISTRY and help us fund its growth. Our ministry is growing and the future looks so bright we have to wear shades. We are looking for monthly partners to help us underwrite this growth, as well as people who can give sporadic large gifts to help us fund special events.

We have two specific goals.

  • We are seeking $5,000/month for the growth, expansion and funding of the ministry. This sum will not only provide all that we need in our office, it will also underwrite the many conferences that we participate in as well as enable our international opportunities throughout Latin America.
  • We want to raise $50,000 and have it in an 'emerging ministry' fund that will enable us to participate in what God is doing as we come across vital and active ministry opportunities. This fund will enable us to purchase and provide items such as:

Riverboats for pastoral training, delivering medical supplies and passing out new testaments along the Amazon River Valley (this alone was $15,000)

Taxis or other large ticket items that can be used to provide employment to poverished pastors.

Dental supplies for dental missionaries (one Bolivian I have mentored is now a dental missionary in far South Bolivia and needs....well everything)

Shelter for pastors and for churches (I am on the board of a ministry designed to help Bolivian pastors holistically, including giving them some type of dignity through adequate housing

    Medical supplies

Other types of supplies to enable/improve quality of life especially in more impoverished areas (shovels, flashlights, tools, radios, etc.)

    Food for the hungry

    Clothing for street kids

School supplies and daily necessities of orphans

These are just some of the ministry needs and opportunities that we have already been a part of in our first three years on the field!

The links on the right panel provide you with shortcuts to credit card giving, automatic bank withdrawls, electronic giving, and giving by mai. The way to do this is to go to www.Ripeforharvest.com and click on the donations. Then just follow the links and fill out the forms. lf you need help, send me an email. . We recommend automatic bank withdrawl for ease of use and to keep you from forgetting a month or two :). This is preferred above credit card giving because we must pay 3% of your total gift to the credit card company. However, ANY WAY that you give is fantastic.
