Mission Committees...We Love You!

This page is especially for you, the member of the local church mission committee. Please allow me to say that I appreciate you! As a pastor, the only committee that I requested to serve on was the missions committee. As a member of the committee, I struggled with the constant deciscion in front of us: "Do we support this missionary or not?"

I know what it is like to have a heart for missions, to see the virtually unlimited need around the world, and then to glance down at your budget and try to not be discouraged.

The fact that you are on this page probably means that we do not have a personal relationship with each other. I was either recommended to you, made a 'cold call' to you, or you have come across our ministry through some other means. Because of our lack of relationship, I want to give you access to resources that can maybe aid you in seeing who we are and understanding our heart.

On the right hand side of this page, you will find several resources. The two best are the Mission project packet and the Mission Committee Packet. The other items are inside of the Committee Packet. Also, you may want to check out our quantifiable goals for our ministry here. It gives an action plan, that while I am sure it will change as we respond to the work of God, it does give us direction. It is part of our See The Dream vision page.
